Pravah ("we," "our," or "the app") is a subscription-tracking app for iOS, Android, and web. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Data We Collect and Use

1.1 Account and profile data

When you sign in, we receive and store:

1.2 Subscription and category data

1.3 Premium subscription status

If you purchase a premium subscription (Pravah Premium), we and our in-app purchase provider store and use:

This is used to enable premium features and to show you the correct plan and renewal information.

Payment data: We do not store payment card numbers or full payment details. Stripe (web), Apple (iOS), and Google (Android) process payments directly. We only receive premium status to enable features.

1.4 Data stored only on your device

The following are stored locally on your device (including browser localStorage on web) and are not sent to our servers as personal data:

Local notifications (renewal reminders) are scheduled on your device on iOS and Android and may include subscription name, renewal date, and price in the notification content. That content stays on your device. Push notifications are not available on the web version yet; the web app displays upcoming renewals on the dashboard only. We may add web notifications in the future.

1.5 Automatic data

We or our service providers may automatically receive information such as IP address, browser type, and device information when you use the app. This is used for security, preventing abuse, and service operation. We do not use this data for analytics or advertising tracking.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account, profile, subscription, and category data for as long as your account exists.

Account deletion: You can delete your account from the app (e.g. via Settings or our account deletion page). When you do, we delete your subscriptions, categories, and user profile from our database and request deletion of your Clerk account. Data held by third parties is subject to their retention policies.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can access, correct, and delete your data. You can delete your account and associated data here. If you are in the EEA, UK, or similar regions, you may have additional rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection). Contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS, secure storage of auth tokens, and access controls. No method is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or higher where required). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. International Transfers

Our backend and providers may store or process data in the United States or other countries. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
